NatureMakers - North Of Tyne

Freelance - Social Media Management and Strategies.
NatureMakers - nature and eco-friendly workshops for children and adults in their local communities and environments.

This client was not enjoying managing the social media for her small business, let’s make it easier and accessible for a small business to run the account alongside everything else.

  1. Big consultation document
Sounds scary but isn’t - I went through her social media and reviewed the content,
profiles and engagement across platforms and channels.
I have had permission from my client to share the document.
Her feedback was that it gave her a lot of guidance and explanations that have given
her more control and understanding of the social media sides of her business.
I included references from other small businesses in the area.

  2. Canva templates
Free software, easy to use, editable templates that she could spend as much or little time on as she wanted.
Guidance on what to search for graphics etc.
Brand font and colours are used consistently to match the website.

Bathroom Renovator- Social Media

I can also write about bathrooms - This is based on work I did for a client when I worked at an agency.
The business’s real name has been replaced and the images used are stock photos.

The challenge with this isn’t necessarily writing the content itself but writing new things about renovating and redoing bathrooms. You’re looking for something new to say about showers, bathrooms, decor and more.

All of which becomes increasingly hard to do, check you’re not repeating yourself too much or too often.

I worked with a bathroom fitting company and we created 4 months of original content, that could be edited and repurposed on rotation.

While not the most exciting it showed me I can find the stories and content ideas in anything.

Concept Game

SPIRITS
from the Last Life

Original Game Concept to practice box copy
Developed from an idea for a story.
Set in a post-apocolytic world, you play as a young survivor who can harness the powers of the elements. The world is a blend of lush forests and crumbling cities.

So I present to you ‘Spirits from the Last Life’ - the art is by @Ardonic-Art on DeviantArt & the writing and further concept development is all me.
You play as Ignate the last daughter of the humans, the world has crumbled and nature’s spirits have taken over and reclaimed. Take on infected monsters, forge weapons, and personalise the combat to your play-style.

This was a little passion project that turned into a chance to learn and practice this sort of game description writing. Similar wording would be used for a Steam description but box art copy forces me to condense the key ideas of the game, narrative and think about what the audience wants and needs to know to buy the game.

JellyCat - Billboard Ad

This Word Tonic brief was to create billboards based on the Jellycat pop-up in London Selfridges - The chip shop - and the limited edition JellyCats that could be found there.

Aiming to create something eye-catching and match the brand’s tone of voice and general vibe of cute and friendly. These are the best and favourites of the bunch.
p.s. call me jellycat
